Todays post is going to be very hard to write because I am literally really sad right now. 

Here's the story: Been in the process of adopting a rabbit for a few weeks now and finally made plans to go to the shelter today and meet them/pick one/take one home. Was told that the one I wanted would be spayed so I could take her home today.. That did not end up being true. So basically I fell in love with alllllll the bunnies, went through the mental trauma of picking one and then didn't even get the satisfaction of taking it home. 

I just want my rabbit because now that I'm officially adopting it I just want it to be out of that stupid shelter and in a safe home, ya feel. 

Also I'm really emotional because it's that time of the month.

Also I've never been to an animal shelter before and it's just really sad. 

But.

The freaking happy notes.

-I am officially adopting a rabbit and she's perfect and adorable

-weather started out rainy, but then the sun came out and my mid-day walk was perfect

-returned my too big shorts at Old Navy for the correct size.. Getting errands done always makes me feel accomplished

Basically today was quite simple and uneventful but it was a rainy lazy day and I am ok with that. :)

-mailed my taxes, and even though they're a hot mess, it's out of my hands now and I am so okay with that

-took a walk with Matthew and complained about money.. It's always nice to comiserate with people you relate to

-I actually worked out today! Huzzah.

Today was really negative.. Some stupid real life stuff happened that was incredibly frustrating. I really tried not to let it be a detriment to the rest of my day, and my overly crappy commute home really didn't help matters much.

Nevertheless, here is the daily positivity.

-I had evening iced coffee and a really tasty homemade dinner.
-My day at work was super chill.
-I'm slightly less worried about my finances than I was before.. I thought through some things today and put it all in perspective.

I'm going to try and write these every day and see where it takes me. :)
